- Which are your daily challenges at Omniconvert?
Every day, in every project I work on and in every activity I get involved, I try to get better and be more organized. I start my week by settling three main objectives and I work on fulfilling them. I am lucky to work with people who are very good, talented and experts in their fields and they help me develop, grow and learn.
- How long have you been in love with the world of content marketing? And how did this passion start?
Two years ago, when I joined the team, I hadn’t discovered my specialization yet. I hit upon content marketing by swooping through different projects, working as a specialist in conversion rate optimization, social media, sales, inbound marketer, blogger, etc. Slowly, I figured I like writing significant content for the main segments bearing in mind the needs and expectations of Omniconvert’s audience. To be able to write valuable copy it is essential to be up to date with everything that is happening in the optimization and eCommerce industry, to read a lot, to be informed and I like that very much.
- You chose the way that led you to Omniconvert. If you hadn’t picked up this road, what other path would you have chosen to follow?
In the actual moment, there is no other place where I would like to work except for Omniconvert. I love what I do and I get inspired by the people who are around me. However, taking into consideration my background as a volunteer, I would like to work some more in an NGO.
- Where do you get your inspiration from? What other passions do you have?
Music, movies, books, people, nature, road trips. Music gives me a good mood and I would listen anytime to The Verve, Radiohead, The War on Drug, Sun Kil Moon, Reptile Youth and Coldplay. I take good care of the little plants at home and of the flower pots at the office. Recently I have discovered how much I enjoy running and how much it relaxes me. The excitement and joy of running trigger me and help me to get rid of stress and worries.
- Who is the marketer you appreciate the most? Why?
I never had an actual mentor, but there are marketers I appreciate a lot. Valentin Radu, CEO Omniconvert, is the best marketer and entrepreneur I’ve ever known. He brought RCA Ieftin round and he developed, alongside Ciprian Dragoi, Omniconvert.com – the only conversion optimization software in the world that has it all. He always sees the best in every situation and easily transforms weaknesses and threats into opportunities, being connected to all that is happening in the eCommerce and conversion rate optimization industry.
- What makes you smile?
One day spent with my nieces, Ilinca and Sofia, makes me smile for a whole month! We jump on the springing board, we splash in the pool, paint and make origami till we fall asleep.
After a long day, when I get home I see Luna, my cute and hyper puppy, who never ceases to cheer me up. I relax with Monty Python, the british humor suits my plate.
- Which is the best advice you got from someone inside the team?
I learned to be more open to the people around me and be grateful for the life I have. I’m healthy, cheerful, and I try, as much as I can, to seize each moment and give time value. I learned to say “thank you” much more often and explain when I think that something is not right.
- Give a piece of advice, in return, to the people who don’t use the Omniconvert platform.
Omniconvert is, in the first place, a software meant to ease the work of marketers and entrepreneurs, being developed by the desire to solve the issues encountered in the past in the optimization process by Valentin. Here is the whole story.
I recommend everyone to try the platform, they have nothing to lose. It’s free and very easy to use, even by those who don’t have technical, IT or design knowledge.
