A/B Testing. How others do it.

In my discussions* with some of you about Omniconvert, two things came up:

#1 show me how others are doing it;

#2 show me how I can do it myself;

*(yes, there’s a real human being writing emails from her real computer to you guys)

With this in mind, we are starting a series of bite-size content pieces on what you can do with Omniconvert.

1st stop. A/B Testing.

#1 Show me how others do it. Read the case study. Here is the story of one of our clients who used A/B Testing and boosted their conversion rate by 22.26% in just 6 months.

#2 Show me how to do A/B Testing myself. Watch A/B Test tutorial. We prepared a video tutorial on how you can set-up an A/B Test using Omniconvert.

#3 Did you know that the best A/B tests are born out of a data-driven hypothesis? It’s not about changing the color of the CTA button because you like green. It’s about changing the color because the data tells you that.
To implement a smart A/B Test, always formulate your hypothesis like this:

Template:
Because of [INSERT DATA-DRIVEN INSIGHT], I will change [INSERT THE ELEMENT TO BE CHANGED], in order to [INSERT THE OBJECTIVE AND METRICS YOU WANT TO IMPROVE]
Real-life example:
Because only 5% of sessions use site search but those sessions have a conversion rate 3x times higher than sessions not containing site search, If we were to make the site search more visible, it might increase our interactions with it which should lead to an overall increase in conversion rate.

#4 Growth Marketing Conference coming up in December. Our partner, Global Growth Marketing Conference, just released an exclusive 20% discount to their flagship Global Growth Marketing Conference 2018 event in San Francisco, December 11-12.

So if you’re around San Fran (we all envy you right now) or already considering the event or it sparked your interest, you can claim your discount by accessing this link.

Instead of a conclusion, here’s a friendly reminder: Stop putting your money in all the wrong places. A/B Test!
