To implement a smart A/B Test, always formulate your hypothesis like this:
Because of [INSERT DATA-DRIVEN INSIGHT], I will change [INSERT THE ELEMENT TO BE CHANGED], in order to [INSERT THE OBJECTIVE AND METRICS YOU WANT TO IMPROVE]
Because only 5% of sessions use site search but those sessions have a conversion rate 3x times higher than sessions not containing site search, If we were to make the site search more visible, it might increase our interactions with it which should lead to an overall increase in conversion rate.
